Sian Bradwell - Weekend !!!

Sian Bradwell Fund - MTL Children\'s Hospital
On the weekend of January 25th, WILBA will be raising funds for the Montreal Children’s Hospital oncology ward through the Sian Bradwell Fund. Sharon & Ken Bradwell gave birth to a beautiful girl whom they named Sian. Tragically, in 1986, they lost her to a rare form of cancer, she was just 17 months of age. After a few years of grieving, Sharon & Ken wanted to keep Sian's spirit alive by creating the Sian Bradwell Fund.
And here’s how we all can help children sick with cancer: We will be raising funds, at John Rennie, by running a canteen both days, we’ll be doing 50/50 draws selling raffle tickets for some great prizes.
On Sunday, January 26th @ 2pm, we will be having a Celebrity game in the main gym at John Rennie. Among the participants (subject to change) are Bruce Hills (President, Just for Laughs), Jonas Tomalty (singer/songwriter), Evan Bush (Montreal Impact), Lizanne Murphy (2012/16 Olympian, basketball), Danny Desriveaux (former Montreal Alouettes slotback), Georges Laraque (former Montreal Canadiens player) with more to come. Personalities from both TSN690 & CJAD 800 will also be playing.
Do you want to play? We’re having a pre game auction, with the highest bidder getting to play on the team of your choice. At ½ time, there will be an auction for some great items. Credits will be accepted.
