WILBA Drills #1 - Week #1

The second drill:
Triano Shooting
This is a drill from Jay Triano former head coach of the Raptors, Phoenix Suns and the Canadian Olympic team and present Associate Coach of the Charlotte Hornets.

This drill has seven to shoot from. Player starts at the first spot – right-side baseline takes a shot and then gets his rebound and goes to the next spot and continues until he shots all seven shots. He then finished the first round by taking a foul shot. Execute the drill seven times for a total of
49 shots and then take a 50 th shot on any place on the court.

Scoring – 1 point for each made basket from the seven sports. No points for made foul shots but a minus point for each made shot. If Carter makes 41 shots plus the bonus shot he has a score of 42 but he also missed two foul shots so his final score is 40.

Shooting spots

1) right side baseline
2) left side baseline,
3) right side wing
4) left side wing
5) right side elbow
6) left side elbow
7) top of the key
