LAKERS SUMMER BASKETBALL CAMP INFORMATION

Learn • Develop • Evolve:

For younger players, building skill mastery is crucial. It takes about 50-100 accurate repetitions over three days to learn a new skill. It takes about 2500 accurate repetitions over three weeks to undo a skill learned incorrectly. At Lakers Summer Skills Camp, we believe it is worth the investment to help younger athletes learn a skill accurately. We also believe having fun is crucial for future passion. Our summer skills camps combine great teaching, high energy, enthusiasm and tons of fun into a camp experience younger athletes will love.

Basketball Skills Development:

• Ball Handling, Dribbling, Shooting, Passing, Rebounding, Defense, Cutting, Footwork, Pivoting, Triple Threat, Man-To-Man Offense and Defense

Fun basketball activities throughout the week:

• 3 on 3 Tournament, Daily Full Court Games, Shooting Competitions, Special Day Programs

Who can attend

• All boys and girls ages 7 to 14 can attend the camp.

• This camp is designed for all levels of players.  

• Groups are divided by age and skills. Groups will be adjusted on a daily basis as necessary.

• Camp runs from 9 AM to 3:30 PM. No day care service offered outside camp hours

• Week #1:  Tuesday, June 25th - Friday, June 28th

• Week #2:  Tuesday, July 2nd - Friday, July 5th

• Week #3:  Monday, July 8th - Friday, July 12th

• Week #4:  Monday, July 15th - Friday, July 19th

• Week #5:  Monday, July 22nd - Friday, July 26th

• Week #6: Monday, July 29th - Friday, August 2nd
